In this episode I have Peter Baines OAM on the mic. Peter spent 2 decades as a forensic investigator and led teams in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Saudi Arabia following major incidents.
He has worked with Interpol in Lyon France and the United Nations Office of Drug and Crime.
Peter’s life changed as a result of a Tsunami on Boxing Day in Thailand 2004. Peter was part of the investigative team tasked with the daunting process of identifying the remains of the many unfortunate victims.
Peter witnessed the devastation and the masses of children left without a home and parents. He decided at that moment, that he needed to do something and he started The Charity, Hands Across The Water.
Peter is a sought-after Keynote Speaker and continues to assist other charities and leaders through corporate social responsibility programs.
Peter and his wife now live on a farm in regional Australia and he continues his incredible work.
